Okay, I am separating the news headlines from the main articles, and will be posting those headlines every day – Lord willing – in a daily post. And, each of those ‘news posts’ will also go out on a news feed that I have just created through Feedburner.
Feedburner is especially useful for those of you with email accounts that keep blocking The Shock Letter – ie, gmail, hotmail, yahoo, and so on. Also, you will get the daily news feed that I have just launched today. So feel free to subscribe to The Shock Feed, here:
I got the idea for this from Michael Snyder, who uses Feedburner for two of his websites:
Michael does a good job, and I’m a subscriber to his news feeds. If this is a good way for you to receive what I’m doing, you can thank Michael for giving me the idea.
Lord willing, every Omega Shock News post will contain all of the links that I thought were important for that day. Unfortunately, I don’t have the time to provide commentary on WHY they are important. It’s one of the things that I have had to sacrifice, now that I’m switching over to a different way of working. (And yes, that ‘switch’ hasn’t been as smooth as I’d hoped.) Hopefully, my articles will give you the proper background to see the significance of these headlines.
Oh, and if you don’t want to get The Shock Feed, you will still see links to each Omega Shock News post, in every Shock Letter that you receive in your inbox – if you are a subscriber. But, the Shock Letters generally come less often than The Shock Feed, so…
To summarize your choices:
The Shock Letter: All Articles + links to previous Omega Shock News posts
The Shock Feed: Everything (but, not sure how well it works/looks and I don’t control the database)
GET BOTH! – They’re both free, and you can unsubscribe at any time – as long as you know how to click the unsubscribe button. (Seriously, some don’t know how.)
And, if you know how to use RSS feeds and like to handle it all by yourself…
If you have a question, leave a comment. It doesn’t matter where you leave it, I’ll see it. You can always send me an email, (john at omegashock dot com), but I am often unable to respond as quickly as I would like. Furthermore, public comments are ALWAYS more valuable because other Omega Shock readers will benefit from your comment/question.
Again, if you have any questions, let me know.
Yours in Christ,
