The Silence is Deafening – by Sheila Zilinsky

When I start an article, I don’t always know how it will end, and yesterday was a prime example of that. I started out by talking about how the CIA became evil, and ended up talking about why everything is a mess:

Our Sin

We have sinned against God. So, God has turned us over to Satan for the destruction of the flesh (1 Corinthians 5:5).

We have chosen pastors that will scratch our itching ears (2 Timothy 4:3). And, our pastors have chosen the way of cowardice, instead of truth.

Well, I received an article from Sheila Zilinsky that speaks directly to that subject, and she gave me permission to share it with you.

The Silence is Deafening – by Sheila Zilinsky

Someday, when the historians are sifting through the ashes of what was once the free West, they will discover that a resounding silence is what caused its demise…

My friend Steve Quayle has a term for most of today’s pastors: Pukes in the Pulpit. I could not agree more. I think Steve might agree with me that it is high time that the church grew a backbone. The pervasive plethora of weak and gutless, insecure people-pleasers hiding behind their 501C3 churches deserve to be carried out of their churches and strung up for the most egregious travesty in North America today: unwillingness to preach the Word of God. Instead of boldly proclaiming the Gospel, these politically correct, gutless wimps cower. They avoid calling sin a sin. Homosexuality is substituted with the softer sounding “lifestyle choice”. Abortion is replaced with “freedom of choice”, and the endless list of abhorrent euphemisms goes on to the point of nausea. Instead, these spineless weasels preach what people want to hear. They replace repentance with dreams of the good life, yet Jesus didn’t have a place to lay his head. And, all but one apostle was martyred. Dying daily, taking up your cross, suffering and sacrificing have been superseded by ‘name it and claim it’ and ‘blab it and grab it’.

The famed 19th Century revivalist and major contributor to America’s “Second Great Awakening,” Charles Finney, said the following: “If there is a decay of conscience, the pulpit is responsible for it. If the public press lacks moral discernment, the pulpit is responsible for it. If the church is degenerate and worldly, the pulpit is responsible for it. If the world loses its interest in Christianity, the pulpit is responsible for it. If Satan rules in our halls of legislation, the pulpit is responsible for it. If our politics become so corrupt that the very foundations of our government are ready to fall away, the pulpit is responsible for it.” I believe Finney was absolutely dead on. The truth is that today’s pastors, churches, and religious leadership have been shamefully silent on a fervent war on Christianity. The widespread persecution of Christians worldwide, along with the vehement extirpation of true Christian values, is grotesquely sickening. Christians are being slaughtered, tortured, raped, and beheaded in droves. And, instead of these atrocities consuming the pews of the Churches in the West, its crickets chirping. That’s right – the silence is deafening.

The Land of the Free is being pillaged and plundered. The once home of the brave is spiraling out of control, toward a crash-and-burn scenario. The maniacal globalists are ramping up their agenda in a full-out rush towards tyranny, and yet churches are in a cotton candy coma. And, while the DC miscreants are selling us out faster than Al Sharpton can spell racism, the pulpit does nothing. Unscrupulous charlatans have created the largest surveillance and draconian police state in the history of mankind, yet no one bats an eye. Good old Dianne-not-so-fine-stein and her gun grabbing cronies expunge the right to self-defense. Our right of privacy has been fervently extirpated, and yet these neutered devils in the pulpit remain in Kumbaya mode. Where is the church in ALL THIS? Where has the church been while these hedonistic hucksters ubiquitously usurp our rights? Busy churning out politically-correct ‘let’s not offend anyone’ light and fluffy motivational speeches to their dumbed and numbed, empty-headed congregations.  Where are they on the right of self-defense, the right to own property, the right of privacy and security in our own homes? Where are these pastors when it comes to self-determination and personal liberty which were all built on moral and fundamental tenets of Biblical Law.

While our continent expeditiously morphs into the Fourth Reich, along with a complete moral meltdown, you would think Christians by the millions would be in a fervent uproar, descending upon their leaders like a swarm of mad locusts. And yet, where are they? And, while the world goes to hell in a hand basket, the penultimate focal point of the pew-cladded plebeians is to do nothing. All Hail the Colgate-smiling mega preachers and their pulpit-permeating, decadent degeneracy. Will the church in the West be galvanized to step up to the plate when it counts? How many more beheadings will we tolerate? How much more butchering of our brethren will we put up with? How much more moral decline does it take for the Church to grab a backbone? The rule of life, promulgated in the Gospel, is precisely that of the moral law. These things are expressly affirmed of true faith, of the faith of the Gospel, yet the shameful complacency and sluggish apathy of the North American pulpit is the exact reason why we are in the dung heap we are – and the silence is deafening.

  1. I WILL AGREE WITH EVERYTHING THAT YOU SAID, THESE — — PREACHERS ARE TELLING THE PEOPLEI IN THE CHURCHS WHAT THEY WANT TO HEAR AND NOT THE TRUTH, I TELL PEOPLE THIS ALL DAY LONG, IT AMAZES ME HOW THEY SOLD GOD OUT FOR MONEY !!!

    • Agree with article. There are so few unregistered churches nationwide, compared to the corporate/ gov 501c3 churches with their gelded sissy preachers/leaders who refuse to speak out and stand up for Biblical values. Home churches and meeting in private buildings or businesses is the coming thing. The unregistered pastors in my area have secular jobs and there is no overhead. The corp church is led by manpleasing hirelings some drawing huge salaries, living in mansions. I could go on folks- ditch these churches now, they will be cast into the abyss in the day of judgement. See news with views (Chuck Baldwin and D. Daudenmire, etc) for more info on this subject. google in unregistered churches. Read old puritan sermons and books.

  2. Hmph. If American pastors don’t have a backbone NOW with the staggering number of abominations being committed in our midst, they are NEVER going to get one.

I have absolutely NO sympathy for the faithless shepherds who are “leading” their portions of the body to slaughter. The LORD our God will deal with such faithless ones FIRST, and THEN He will deal with the faithless flock.

It will NOT be pretty, at all.

  3. John, I would like to respectfully disagree. As a Baptist pastor, the facts are that the majority of pastors in north America are bright, passionate, committed believers that are paid poverty wages, and are trying to make a difference in their communities. They are not political organizers, they are pastors, that preach the bible, feed the poor, visit the sick and dying, counsel the broken hearted and are leading the lost to Christ. It offends me to be lumped in and compared to the Mega-preachers that are teaching a watered down gospel. But most of the Ministers I know are still preaching hell hot and heaven sweet. My contemporaries have taken a stand against alcohol sales, abortion, and gambling etc…you just don’t hear about it on the nightly news. I do not preach the pre-trib fib, but the pre-wrath rapture theology.
I happen to believe we are in the last days, and as such, the wickedness in society is fulfillment of prophecy. These things must needs come to pass. I do not agree with them, and am fighting against it, but I think it’s wrong to blame the average pastor that has surrendered his life to ministry, and to claim that he is the cause of all the ills in the world. As God told Elijah, there are 7,000 that have not bowed their knees to Baal.

    • Hi sam deville,

Well, if you are one of the pastors with a backbone, then my comments and Sheila’s are not directed at you. And, I agree that there are many pastors that DO have backbones.

But, they are NOT the majority. Not even close. And no, I am NOT speaking just to mega-church pastors.

I know quite a few non-mega-church pastors that have watered-down their message because they know that they would lose over half their congregation, if they told all the truth.

I’m actually surprised that you took offense at my comments. You should be saying “Amen” to what I said and calling back-slidden pastors to repentance.

Don’t you understand how great our sin is before God?

Please reconsider your position, Sam. Judgment lies at the door because of OUR sin.

      Yours in Christ,

      John Little

      • John, Thank you for the reply. Herein lies my problem with the article. Neither you nor Sheila qualified your comments toward the 51% or 63% of crummy ministers. You lumped us all together. We are… “weak, gutless, cowering gutless wimps, spineless weasles etc…” and the phrase “the silence is deafening” implies there are no pastors in north America worth a hoot. “None” That we are all silent sell-outs”. So that now the folks that drive past my church think,,,yeah, theres another one of those money grabbing, putrifying sell-outs that John told us about. Tell the truth,,,,can you personally name 10 pastors in North America that you have heard over 5 of their sermons in the past 5 years? Not mega-pastors,,,,but the guy that pastors a rural church that averages about 100, which is the average size church in the U.S. And do you know how many pastors are fired every year for refusing to tickle the ears of their congregations? I have a number of personal friends that refused to compromise,,and lost their jobs. The numbers are heartbreaking and staggering. They are great heroes in my opinion, but you mention nothing about them. Your silence is deafening.
Think about this,,,the average pastor earns a 4 year degree and then a masters degree and then is hired at $25,000 a year. He is on call 24/7, lives in a shack called a parsonage, has no insurance or retirement and has a community of critics like you that pick apart everything that he or his family does. If you want to get a good laugh,,tell a bunch of pastors that they are in it for the money,,,hahaha
The great majority of ministers started out with grand plans to change the world for Christ,,,and it’s simply my opinion,,,,that if they are so beaten down that they have compromised their message and their vision for change, if they are afraid that their career will be ruined and their children will go hungry,,,,,,then we should weep for them, and pray for them, that God would restore their fire and their faith. But beating them over the head and laying every sin at their feet is not Christ-like. And if this is how you call pastors back to repentance, I don’t think you will have much success. It might make you feel better, but will garner few results. I simply refuse to cast the stone.
By the way,,,most of the time, I really like your writing and respect what you have to say,,,,just have to agree to disagree on this one….Blessings, sd

    • @ Sam Deville

“As God told Elijah, there are 7,000 that have not bowed their knees to Baal.”

      As the “Freemasons” have?!!! 🙂

They have indeed Bowed to Baal (aka… Osiris, Zeus, Molech, Moloch etc) – along with his/its Queen Consort “The Queen of Heaven” or “Artemis of the Ephesians” (aka Isis, Ishtar, Liberty – etc. etc.).

We know which “Pastors” Mr. Little and Mrs. Zilinsky write of:
The one’s Marrying Gays in Church because the Corrupt Gov’t (And Obamanation) said to!!!

  4. I agree as far as you go. But Pastors are not the only ones Scripture demands accountability from. Pew sitters are required to hold pastors/leaders/elders/teachers accountable. Study to show yourself approved; search the Scriptures to see if what you are taught measures up. Where in Scripture are we told a select few individuals are responsible for everyone else’s lack of conviction? Most of the heros of the faith have been so because they were average people with extraordinary relationships with their God! Each person will stand in judgement before God and answer for themselves.

    • Hi Sherri Rogers,

This is true, but the fault ultimately starts with the pastors, because they were the ones who were responsible for teaching those who sat in the pews. Just as pastors receive a double blessing for their work, they also receive a double curse.

But, as you say, we will all stand before God, individually, and answer for our own sins, individually.

      Thank you, Sherri. Good points.

      Yours in Christ,

      John Little

  5. sheila is absolutely correct. God said of the false prophets in the days of old, “I have not sent them.” I never thought I would see the day when the truth of the Word of God would be expunged from so-called evangelical church buildings. What a travesty . What a disgrace. What nonsense. As Paul the Apostle said, ” If our gospel is hidden, it is hidden from those who are lost.” The denominations of today actually schedule services AROUND football games. Huh??? What did God say? “You shall have no other gods before Me.” and, “I am God and there is no other.” Would that I had a public forum, thru which I could blast the truth of the fallen state of our so-called churches and their false gospels. Go, Sheila!

  6. Yes, the silence is deafening but it’s divine being a “Bovine!”

Please, don’t place all the blame on the pastor/milkman! Here are five thoughts which I believe we all must prayfully review and consider before passing judgement on all pastors! Beware! Belligerent bovines are everywhere! In other words, many have Mad-Cow disease, not the mind of Christ, ignorant of “Truth!”
First thought! Our congregations of cattle today don’t do much except eat, sleep and are milked of their money twice weekly! Most of the goy glued to the pews have become nothing more than deaf and dumb herd animals, as were their parents. I too, was ONCE a “goy boy” peridically meeting at the cattle crossing. I attribute my cattle mentality to my father and his father before him, eating everything BUT the “TRUTH” for THEMSELVES. They were led to believe traditions of men in the so called “HOUSE OF GOD.” It has been the same old manna (instead of daily bread) for generations and unfortunately things have not changed much! Sad, but true! Pray for our fathers and mothers to begin to lead by examples found in “The Word” not the world!
Second thought! If you want to see real change, a great awakening is desperately needed among this generation of youth! Pray for a legitimate move of God’s Holy Spirit outside the four walls allowing the “Holy Spirit” to show our youth the “Truth” (John 14:16-17), then many traditions of men will end! Amen.
Third thought! The one and only example to follow is Jesus/Yeshua. Eight times Yeshua said; “I am” which can be found in the Gospel of John! Why? He “Yeshua” is the only example to KNOW AND FOLLOW, not the milkman at your local dairy farm. Here are the eight “I am” examples which Yeshua shared with “His” twelve!
John 6: 35, 48 I am the bread of life
John 8: 12, 9:5 I am the light of the world
John 8: 58 Before Abraham was, I am
John 10:9 I am the door
John 10:11 I am the good shepherd
John 11:25 I am the resurrection and the life
John 14:6 I am the way, the truth, and the life
John 15:1 I am the true vine
Pray we put “I am” back into the middle of all our dairy farms and follow him!
Fourth thought! Twelve! Only twelve! Wow, what a congregation! By today’s standards, his church would be considered a failure, but then again he was not a HIRELING in a “house of prayer’ (John 10:12) he was a HEALER! A divine healer gone mobile, one on one! Pray for the healer to return to His flock, clean out His house of prayer “again” and then find a few loving laborers to go gather in “His” harvest!
Fifth and final thought! Take the mammon out of the milkmans hands. Why?
Luke 8:1-3 reveals how our one and only example recieved ministry money and it was not by milking the sheep/cattle of their milk money! READY? After this, Jesus traveled about from one town and village to another, proclaiming the good news of the “Kingdom of God.” The Twelve were with him and also some women who had been cured of evil spirits and diseases: Mary (called Magdalene) from whom seven demons had come out; Joanna the wife of Chuza, the manager of Herod’s household; Susanna; and many others. These women were helping to support them out of their own means. Wow, DONATIONS! His “Father” knew what he had need of and it was not ten percent! What would become of our pastors if they had to survive on donations? Many milkmen would get real jobs! Some true shepherds would remain to disciple the sheep and then send them, not pen them! The silence is deafening, but then again most cattle only “Moooooooooo!” Many only get milkshakes bi-weekly, never sharing the “Truth” daily themselves or with their families. Now you know why it’s divine to be a “bovine!” They keep their heads down and keep eating grass, becoming a part of another mule team just following another ass!
Shalom, Mocassin Man “Loosed” from the pen of passiveness!
    Agape Evangelistic Mission

    • @ “Mocassin Man”

      John 6: 35, 48 – I am the “BREAD OF LIFE”

      =

      Micah 5:2
      2“But you, BETHLEHEM Ephrathah,
though you are small among the clans of Judah,
out of you will come for me
one who will be ruler over Israel,
whose origins are from of old,
      from ancient times.”

      Bethlehem = Strongs 1035:
Beyth Lechem – being the Hebrew for/meaning “House of Bread”!!!

Christ “The BREAD OF LIFE” was born in “The HOUSE OF BREAD” just as Promised/Prophesied by Micah ca 650ish BC.

Just thought I’d share this lil gold nugget,
Just in case you weren’t aware!

      Shalom

  7. Let’s accept the fact that we are witnessing the “great falling away” of apostacy in the church prophecised for the last days. This is the new status quo. Nothing is going to change. It will get worse. It’s time to welcome the inevitabilty of the end times and look forward to God’s kingdom of heaven on earth.

  8. OH,thats really funny,PASTORS get a back bone, hahahaha,I’ve been kicked out of every church the LORD has sent me to,A WEEK or so ago,THE LORD came to have a chat with me about his children,HEY he even brought his own table,HE needed it too,HE had a stack of papers he wanted me to see,After he laided them all out on the table,I looked at them,IT was math, lists, percentages, numbers,I had a hard time trying to understand what he was showing me,SO I asked him what it all ment?HE said look at the last page,…..80% of americans claim to be christains,BUT,only 12% are,HE told me its house cleaning time,88% of americans are going to die soon,12% are going to heaven, and 51,000 will be his remant,THAT will survive,..OH the 88%,their going to hell……………MY advice? get closet to the LORD NOW,AMERICA,your now sodom and egypt in the eyes of our dear LORD,(perverts and slaves)..THE DOOR is still open, you can come back to the LORD still or face the worst judgement you can’t image,DON’T wait, your out of time……

  9. The pastors have easy lives. I’m sure many golf. Only gotta work a few hours a week. My last pastor told me just “vote Republican”. That’s all I gotta do and everything will be okay.

Yeah….and WTC 7 just blew itself up.

IMO the church sold its soul to the Republican Party and all those NWO/Bohemian Grove types. The average Christian Republican does not have the courage to understand that their Republican leaders are criminals, traitors, and Satanists.

    • That’s funny I was just thinking a few day’s ago along the lines of part of your comment.
christian republican ..?..is it like saying, of Christ and of the republican party? or tied to Christ while at the same time tied to the world or parts within it..? I dunno, but the actions of many suggest they are heartily tied to kingdoms or groups within the worldly kingdoms that are nothing more then “of” the world while still hoping or thinking to be tied to Christ who is not at all of this worlds kingdoms and way’s of it’s unbelief and sin and darkness.
It’s impossible to be joined to both huh.

The worse the world waxes the more we can see we belong to Christ Jesus and not the world..it’s as if we’re..foreigners! lol.
And the world perishes and will do so because God already pronounced it would but those of Christ will never perish, awesome.
Meanwhile plenty of work to do to see if any would join the wedding dinner and not perish with the world.

  10. How do we expect from Christians around the world to listen to open their minds and eyes while poisoned everyday in their ears such wrong words
How we expect from them to awake to rise
I hope all our endeavors answered a day and we see much much people awakened

  11. if the person in the pew was not worldly minded then they’d not sit and listen to a worldly focused “gospel”.

a man must be born again, as newborn babies desire the pure milk of the word, john 3. 1st peter 2, but isn’t it very noticeable how many have never eaten, desired milk as a newborn can only do, and still don’t to this day desire to eat nor actually eat?..sooo?..stillborns? And not going from milk to meat and receiving the word engrafted which is able to save their souls their easily misled further..further..away, not that they ever had the word as evidenced they never desired to eat nor actually ever eat or ate! I struggled for a time to grasp how some are like that, never ate, never desired from the depths of their being to eat/the word..how can a baby not desire with all it’s might to eat?!! But if they were stillborn, that explains alot, and is very sad.

many have a form of godliness but deny the power thereof=not born of God born again in Christ then. In time as the time of the AC approaches those with the form become more apparent it’s only the form, and not real/not the truth of Christ.

the times of the falling away..where do they fall to? they go the route of the world, fall towards the world, as they only had the form and denied the power thereof, not born of the Spirit, they can only fall in line with the direction of the world, and is what anyone see’s is occurring.
After the falling away era comes the revealing of the man of sin and those times. Draw nearer always to Christ, He has all the strength we’ll all need :))

    • Hi carson,

I think that you are right for most. However, I do believe that there is a middle ground.

Most Christians are stillborn, as you say. But, there are still many who have been tricked into following the crowd, because they don’t know any better. I personally know how easy that is.

One good thing about the difficult times that are coming, is that those who are the true children of God will make themselves known – as everyone else falls away.

Great points, Carson. Keep up the good work!

      Yours in Christ,

      John Little

  12. I believe in God and only one God. It’s not too late to ask God for forgiveness and have your own personal relationship with God without all these corrupt churches who sold out God for money. The root of all evil, money. The Satanists think they are immortal but we all know judgement day is around the corner. Stay as close to god as you can. May God forgive all our sins and punish these devil worshippers. The government and all those that are Satan’s servants.

  13. This is the mainstream christian church (secular) today especially in the West. If JESUS had only preached what these Pastors (of these secular Christian churches) preached today HE (Jesus) would not have been crucified. They give more importance on what their congregation want to “hear” rather than what the WORD of GOD -the Biblical Scriptures demand for obedience.
