I don’t think that William Strauss or Neil Howe really understood what that ‘Rendezvous with Destiny’ is. In fact, I’m not completely sure that even I do. This Rendezvous is shaping up to be the most horrifying moment in human history, since the Great Flood, and few of us really see it.
I thought long and hard about where to go next in this series, America, Lord of the… We have already established the absolute moral bankruptcy of the United States, so there’s very little territory to cover, except… well… war.
We have been in a shocking number of them – 120 since our founding – and, that is NOT counting covert actions. In fact, there have been very few moments in time when the US was not involved in war.
That some of those wars were necessary cannot be denied. But, the amount of time America has spent at war… well, it highlights the fact that America isn’t the peaceful nation that we think it is.
I talked about a perfect storm, yesterday. And, as I look back on what I said, I can only say that the conclusions are completely inescapable. As this perfect storm approaches… and starts to rip away at civilization’s facade… the world is going to come crashing down around us. It didn’t have to happen this way, but it is GOING to happen. And, God has said that it would happen.
More than 25% of the Bible describes the Last Days, and most of that description is horrifying. But, when you think about the true implications of just Peak Oil… well, the devastation described in the Bible no longer seems so astonishing.
If you are willing to look, the signs of the end of the world as we know it (TEOTWAWKI – and yes, I do feel fine) really are all around us. And, it is amazing to me that people can’t see them, or (if they DO see them) do nothing.
Having always been a don’tjuststandtheredosomething person, it is hard for me to understand how anyone can not act in the face of such obvious calamity. I guess that’s why I have this website. I just can’t sit here and watch you go off to your death without giving you some kind of warning.
Unfortunately, there is a terrible logic to these Chinese plans to exterminate the population of North America, and the Chinese have always had a brutally pragmatic way of looking at the world. My own wife – who is Chinese by culture and Taiwanese by birth – was completely unsurprised by Chi Haotian’s article. Chinese history is a tale of massacre, genocide and starvation on a massive scale. General Chi’s words are merely a reflection of that history.
I have lived in the Republic of China (aka, Taiwan) for more than three years. My wife is Chinese, and most of my adult life has been spent in a place that is regularly threatened with extermination – Israel. While that may not make me qualified to analyze what I am about to tell you, it should help you understand the chill that I felt when I read an article written by Chi Haotian, Minister of National Defense for the People’s Republic of China until 2003.
That article was a chilling picture of China’s real plans for the future, a future that is nothing less than apocalypse.
I’m not sure if it was just me, but there was an ominous feel to yesterday. And, I don’t normally get feelings like that. It was like a… something… had moved into our realm of existence – a very unhappy something. A spooky something.
That could be part of the reason.
I try to always ask God for the subject to write on, and the words to write, before I start laying thoughts out on the screen. But, yesterday, the topic didn’t come, and the words just didn’t appear. And, that’s very unusual.
I am so upset by the evil that is happening in the land of my birth, that I could chew nails. In fact, if I weren’t something of a pacifist, I would be actively planning to do something about it – and that includes active, violent revolution. So, I’m glad that I’m NOT in the US. I’m not sure that my pacifist views are strong enough to keep my temper in check.
