You undoubtedly feel the same sense of relief that I do. The most vile politician in recent memory did not find her way into the Oval Office.
Unfortunately, it doesn’t mean that her opponent was a good choice for president. It just means that we won’t cringe quite so much when we hear his name attached to the words ‘President of the United States’.
Furthermore, I hope that you will understand when I caution you against euphoria over the outcome of this election. Judgment is coming, for our sins are great.
We all have been watching the antics of the candidates and the press. The corruption that they have revealed is so far beyond revolting, that I can barely stand it. If this doesn’t reveal the true nature of our political system – and our society – nothing will.
But, I want to be done with it. It wears on me, and I’m betting that it wears on you.
However, there’s something worse than this election. And, you do NOT want that to happen.
We are just a month away from the US elections. The media has been breathlessly focused on the dog and pony show that passes for ‘democracy’ in the US. Unfortunately, this election won’t change the problems that we face, or the foolishness of our governments.
And frankly, I’d like to get on with talking about those things that matter. Unfortunately, this election is also revealing to the average person how awful our governments are.
You and I knew that they were really bad, but now a lot of the less knowledgeable now know.
Things have been happening this week. We had the first big debate of this year’s US election. (Did anyone catch the wires on Hillary?) Obama got vetoed on the 9/11 bill, and that has the Saudis in a tizzy. The reputation of the FBI is falling fast. We have even MORE evidence about how they try to manipulate us. More and more evidence keeps rising about Gog and Magog.
And yet ANOTHER typhoon took a whack at us, in our Little island of Taiwan. And, it got personal.
The Elections are almost here, and the banksters have been trying to hold back the deluge of bad news, to get their candidate into the White House. And, they only have two months left to do it. But, that’s not all the news.
We have a big ecumenical meeting set to take place in Jerusalem. Ecumenicism is at the core of the Antichrist movement, so this doesn’t come as a surprise.
A big alien story has arrived. Since the Jesuits are really into alien stories, I’m betting that there’s some Jesuit involvement in this.
Over the past two weeks the Republicans and Democrats presented their most persuasive arguments for why Americans should choose THEM to lead the United States. I’m not a fan of either party, and the candidates that I supported most did not get nominated.
More important, Turkey made its turn away from the US and NATO, and toward the Middle East. If you are wondering how that will play out, just read Ezekiel 38 and 39. And then, read Isaiah 19, where it talks about Assyria. For Assyria to rise, Turkey must fall.
These are momentous times, and the long, hot summer that I’ve been talking about isn’t over yet.
Donald Trump has essentially won the Republican Party nomination, and many rejoice over this. It’s a great victory, and I have been highly critical The Donald’s opponents in this contest.
But, will The Donald really change anything?
He might make some important changes. We’ll certainly feel better about our government, should he survive to take the White House. But, there’s a far deeper issue, and it’s even connected to last week’s review of ‘The Rapture Verdict‘ by Michael Snyder.
It’s about you and me.
Remember. You can’t fix a spiritual problem with political solutions.
As the darkness closes in around us, it is natural for our thoughts to turn towards the prospect of a grim future. And, in the short-term, it IS grim. But, as John The Apostle contemplated these things, he embraced these events, for they pointed to the return of our God and King, Jesus Christ.
I must keep reminding myself of this, as I look upon the evil that is happening around us, and within us.
I am grateful to all who have chosen to make a stand for Christ. For the Truth. For Righteousness. For an eternity with God. It is a struggle, and it will take everything you have. But, it is worth far more than anything that we can give.
