WEEKEND SHOCKCAST: Disaster, Israel and Fear

Over the past few months, I’ve been hitting you with one series after another. So, you’re probably glad that I’ve given you something of a breather, this week. I’m also glad because a series is a lot more work than a bunch of individual articles. We’ll see how long this ‘breather’ lasts. Unfortunately, this is probably the calm before a storm. The Fall seems to be the time when most banks decide to fail, and markets catch cold when investors come back from Summer break and look at their portfolios. Ebola looms on the horizon. On the other hand, when I looked at the area with Google Maps, View Larger Map I noticed … Click here to read the rest…

72 Hours on Steroids

In my October 25 article, 72 Hours, I talked about how much time you have to get out of the danger zone when catastrophe hits. Well, there’s more. When you run away from YOUR disaster zone, you need to make sure that you don’t run straight into someone else’s disaster zone. Oh, and I’m still on steroids, which is another reason why this is 72 Hours on Steroids. Last week, I was watching the Glen Beck Program on GBTV, when Glen put on Barrett Moore, the CEO and founder of Sovereign Deed. He was talking about disaster preparedness, and how … Click here to read the rest…
