The current, high tech civilization started dying a little over ten years ago. What began in the 1800s, races towards an inglorious end and the death of billions of people. And, you know nothing about this, because our dear leaders do not want you to know.
In fact, these same ‘dear leaders’ undoubtedly tell themselves that our fantastic empire will continue, that nothing can shake this great ship as it travels into the night. But, not all is as it seems, and that jolt you felt in 2008 was the same kind of iceberg that sank the unsinkable Titanic.
It’s Christmas Eve Eve. You would think that evil would have some holiday spirit and take a break. But no, evil is hard at work as you make last minute gift choices.
We’ve had a profoundly disturbing vision from teenager. Fake News is still in ‘The News’. There is yet more evidence that Peak Oil really has peaked. India is crashing and burning in truly spectacular fashion. Russia rises in power. #Pizzagate revelations just keep coming. The Trumpageddon apocalypse keeps rolling on. Italian banks threaten the world. Muslims continue to rampage in their attempt to set the world on fire. Russia, Syria and Iran are winning.
Next week will mark a turning point. Either the Republic continues as it is, with all of its faults and corruptions, or it turns deeper into Empire. Rome stood at that same turning point more than two thousand years ago, and America is remarkably similar to Rome.
In fact, that similarity was by design.
Anyway, next week will be of enormous importance. Of course there will be other weeks of such importance, but there are few times in which such importance mimics history so closely and allows us to quote Shakespeare:
Whatever the cause of my slow progress in seeing what should be obvious, the point should be clear to everyone reading these articles, that the United States is the penultimate empire of world history. No empire has been greater, and it is the last one before The Beast finally rises.
Over the last few weeks, I’ve been talking a lot about cycles that seem to chart the course of human life. It’s a pretty counterintuitive idea until you realize that EVERYTHING in the Universe lives according to a certain rhythm.
But, what happens when the inputs that fuel the rhythm fail?
Well, the rhythm – or cycle – dies. And, it’s replaced by a new one.
But, what if the owners of the old cycle go to war against the new cycle?
Lots and lots of people die. In fact, whole civilizations have died because the old cycle was too successful, which meant that they killed off the new one.
