With all that is happening right now, you would think that a book review would be the last thing for me to talk about. But, it is precisely because there is so much going on that I must do this book review.
Spiritual blindness is the one thing keeping Christians from seeing what is happening and what is about to happen. If our brothers and sisters were spiritually awake and following the Holy Spirit, I would not need to tell you anything.
But, I believe that this book is vital for many to read. So, bear with me as I discuss A Bucket Full of Holes.
Donald Trump has essentially won the Republican Party nomination, and many rejoice over this. It’s a great victory, and I have been highly critical The Donald’s opponents in this contest.
But, will The Donald really change anything?
He might make some important changes. We’ll certainly feel better about our government, should he survive to take the White House. But, there’s a far deeper issue, and it’s even connected to last week’s review of ‘The Rapture Verdict‘ by Michael Snyder.
It’s about you and me.
Remember. You can’t fix a spiritual problem with political solutions.
I’m always on the lookout for those who transcend the constraints of popular thought and allow the Holy Spirit to direct their understanding of the Last Days. I have found very, very few who have enough of that ‘Last Days’ understanding to be able to give them more than the briefest of mentions.
Well, I can now say that I’ve found one name that is worthy of great commendation:
What a turbulent week. Chinese stock markets collapsed. The Dow Jones Industrial Index flash-crashed. Fires consumed forests and homes in the American Northwest. North Korea threatened South Korea. Another explosion rocked China – followed by two in Japan. More evil rose from the cesspool called Planned Parenthood. And then, to add insult to injury, a glitch took down Omega Shock and a bunch of other sites.
What a happy week.
It’s almost as if they decided that they couldn’t wait for the end of September to get everything started – whoever ‘they’ are.
Intelligence is such a cool word. Telling someone that you have ‘intelligence’ that a certain thing is going to happen at a specific place makes your bit of rumor sound so much more important. And, there are a lot of people out there handing out garbage and calling it ‘intelligence’ when it’s worth less than what your neighbor’s dog dumps in your yard.
And, there are times when I’ve been fooled into thinking that what I had was good intelligence, when it wasn’t. It can be so very hard to tell.
I saw something Sunday night that I cannot explain in any way that sounds rational. What I saw was clearly not human. It wasn’t shaped like a human, although it was humanoid. It didn’t have the right number of teeth. It’s eyes were too big. It’s head was too large and too long. It’s brain was at least 25% larger than mine, which was a little intimidating.
