Willful Blindness – Redux

Our ability to deceive ourselves is so great, that it is almost beyond comprehension. It’s as if we decided that the looming disasters that we face, are too much trouble to think about – much less, talk about or even do anything to avoid.

We won’t even TALK about these things, and I’m utterly amazed by this. And, since we keep our mouths closed, our choice to be blind spreads.

Like a disease.

Unfortunately, it’s NOT a disease. It’s a choice. We chose this. And, I wouldn’t believe it, if I didn’t see it in myself.

None so Blind as Those

The reason why the world is in so much trouble, is that we’ve been living in a fantasy world of our own design. And, as this fantasy unravels, we clutch at it more and more fiercely. Unfortunately for the fantasy-clutchers, the fabric has already torn and reality is becoming visible.

WEEKEND SHOCKCAST: Escape the Asylum

I want to believe that America can be rescued. I want America to be that shining city on a hill that beckons the nations of the world to truth, righteousness and freedom. I want her to be one nation under God. I want her to be the country that demonstrates the love of Christ to the world.

Unfortunately, America is NOT that country, and cannot be that country unless the Body of Christ in America turns from their wickedness, asks forgiveness from God and sincerely follows the Lord, in humility and truth.

Until that happens, there can be no hope of rescue for our beloved country. And, I do not see evidence that any of this is happening. If I did, I would be far more optimistic.

We’ve Gone Insane – It’s Time to Escape the Asylum

I see crazy people.

Lots and lots of crazy people.

Thankfully, if you are reading this, you are probably not one of them. However, you are probably stuck in the midst of a country full of crazy people, and I wish that it wasn’t so.

One of the things that I have learned about dealing with crazy people, is that you can’t change them. Only God can do that. And, when God says that He ISN’T going to cure the insanity… well …it’s time to look elsewhere for what God wants you to do.

Worse, when you spend too much time with crazy people, their insanity rubs off on you. So, I highly recommend that you escape the asylum, while the crazy people are still willing to let you out.
