Israel and the Coming of Catastrophe

I stand amazed at the speed with which tyranny grows and the ignorance that has allowed it to prosper. We abandoned clear thought and sound ideas for the dubious illusions of our ‘advanced’ civilization. We will reap the reward for that all too soon, because yes, there is a God, and He is not amused by our foolishness.

God is even less amused by our willingness to condemn the innocent and forget the truth.

God left us with carefully worded messages that lay out the future and His plans, but we no longer read the Bible. So, we can no longer see what is coming.

WEEKEND SHOCKCAST: Disaster, Israel and Fear

Over the past few months, I’ve been hitting you with one series after another. So, you’re probably glad that I’ve given you something of a breather, this week. I’m also glad because a series is a lot more work than a bunch of individual articles. We’ll see how long this ‘breather’ lasts. Unfortunately, this is probably the calm before a storm. The Fall seems to be the time when most banks decide to fail, and markets catch cold when investors come back from Summer break and look at their portfolios. Ebola looms on the horizon. Fear

When your Dad is rich, you know that you will never need to worry about money. He may not always pay for everything that you want. But, you will never have to worry about what you need.

When your Dad is the God of the Universe…

…you will never need to worry about ANYTHING that you need.

Period.

Worry is just another word for fear. And yes, our Father really is the God of the Universe. And, the only thing that we need to fear is our inattention to what God is telling us.

That’s why, even with all that is going on around us, our only fear should be deafness to the leading of the Holy Spirit.

Twisting the Bible – Part 5 – Do You Love God?

After looking at what I’ve said up to this point, I wondered about what I should say next. The world is full of examples of how NOT to do something. In fact, I am even an example foolishness and bad behavior. Just ask my poor, long-suffering wife.

So, I thought that I would ask you a question and talk about a man that I respect a lot – Pastor David Lankford. Having heard his willingness to restrict himself to what the Bible actually says, I am confident that this is a man who is a living, breathing example of someone who loves God.
