Our financial system is built on layer upon layer of empty promises. It didn’t start out that way, but it’s that way now. And, we’ve gotten so used to treating the empty promises in our system as real… well …we just keep doing it.
The problem arises when someone chooses to stop pretending that the empty promises are real. And, that usually happens when an entity no longer sees any benefit in playing the game of make-believe.
After I thought my way through yesterday’s article, things have become a bit clearer. And, this has allowed me to understand the morning news a little better.
As I said yesterday, if the petrodollar system falls, the American Empire falls. This means that whoever controls petroleum, controls the American Empire.
We invaded Iraq twice to preserve the petrodollar. We’ve been training and arming jihadis in Syria to preserve the petrodollar. And, we seem awfully reluctant to do ANYTHING to ISIS because of the petrodollar.
Oh, and we’ll have a nuclear war because of the petrodollar. I almost forgot about that one.
I personally don’t like the idea of cycles. I also don’t like the idea of death and destruction, but it’s coming. And, God didn’t ask me for my opinion on how the future should be laid out.
The problem is that the truth can paint an ugly picture, but since it’s the truth… well, we have to embrace it – no matter how much we would wish it to be different. And, this goes for the whole idea of cycles.
War and finance exist within a cyclical paradigm, and therefore it is our duty to understand that paradigm, so that we can serve God and help those around us.
It was another unsettled week, and not just in the headlines. There was an ominous feel about this past week that went beyond the troubling news. It could be that the entities ‘that go bump in the night’ are starting to see the light of day. Or, maybe I’m just feeling the effects of toxic air from mainland China.
But, there can be no denying that something IS going on. The CIA, through its National Endowment for Democracy (NED) is rushing forward to consolidate their takeover of Ukraine. Russia is moving to neutralize this threat and make a counter-move of her own.
There’s lots of Russia-talk coming from me on this website, and it’s not my favorite topic. We talked about Russia all last week. We talked about Russia all this week (except for that bit about silver). And, we’ll probably talk about Russia next week. And, the reason why I don’t want to talk about Russia… well, the US is prodding Russia into a war that will send us right into the abyss. And, I hate the thought of that.
As the psychopaths running America and Europe pause to reflect on Russia’s response to their coup in Kiev, let’s take a moment to think about the most important resource that you can hold, once you have secured the basic necessities. And, this is an important moment to talk about this because the damage that is going to be (and is being) inflicted upon our monetary system will destroy the value of virtually everything that we possess – especially, the fake money called the US dollar.
I received an email from someone that got me thinking about coins vs bars and silver vs gold – and talking to your neighbors. All of this is pretty heavy stuff – in some cases, literally. And, we jump into all of it with a great degree of trepidation. I mean, do we REALLY understand what we’re getting into?
There really is a lot that we don’t understand, so we have to take a lot on faith as we decide to prepare for an uncertain future. In fact, I’m here to tell you that I myself approach all this with a great deal of fear. Could I be wrong about all this?
I have a confession to make. By nature, I’m not a terribly charitable person. I’m suspicious and cynical. I tend not to believe people when they tell me things. And, I tend to trample over people’s feelings. By nature, I’m really not a nice guy.
But, God reached down and saved me from my ‘nature’ and gave me eternal life. I am grateful beyond words, but I still have that natural man and must continually wrestle with my ‘natural’ instincts. (Although, I’m still not really all that ‘nice’.)
The average citizen in China consumes a massive amount of Gold. In fact, they have been lining up to buy as much of it as they can. And, the Chinese government is fanning the flames of this forest fire, and that is a very, VERY curious thing. You would think that they would do the exact opposite.
Did you know that the Chinese government does not allow ANY gold to leave China?
