The enemy works against us is so many ways, even turning those who should be friends and allies, into combatants. It’s a terrible sign of the evil of this world, but it was also foreordained. So, we probably shouldn’t complain too much, and I will do my best not to.
Why do Christians so quickly fall away?
Why do we invite the wolves to enter our congregations and tear our churches apart?
Why do we vote for corrupt politicians so often?
Why do we allow our governments to act with such complete evil?
Why do we give so much power to the very people who seek our destruction?
The answer is SIN. But, you are excused if you find that answer unsatisfying.
The decision by Donald Trump to launch missiles at symbolic targets in Syria, is a bad sign. A very bad sign. It’s a sign that the Deep State operating within Washington D.C. has been able to maneuver President Trump into doing what it wants. And, it also means that the American Empire still seeks the complete destruction of Russia.
Russia sees this and has communicated a willingness to make America pay a heavy price for this. And, Russia has already demonstrated – many times – a willingness and ability to take draconian steps to ensure her security.
This will not end well for the West.
And, it leads directly to Gog and Magog and Ezekiel’s Fire.
Three eleven. That’s what we – in East Asia – call the Tohoku Earthquake and Tsunami of March 11th, 2011. The rest of you think of it as the time when the Fukushima nuclear reactors melted down and blew up.
However, it’s more than a disaster. It’s also an allegory of the future – an allegory that we need to pay attention to. Those who do not internalize this warning about the future, will be lucky to survive when that future arrives.
Why do I say this?
Most who died in the 3/11 Tsunami, did so because they ignored the warning – or didn’t hear it.
I am so bad at prognostication, that I won’t really try to tell you what WILL happen. The best that I can do is describe the threats. These threats have been looming larger and larger with each passing year. And, some of them are new.
Please treat these seriously.
My hope is that we will have another year where we successfully dodge the bullets being fired at us. But, there is a limit to how often we can do that.
How we got to where we are is utterly fascinating. What an intricate series of events and historical movements that led us to this horrific moment in time.
For thousands of years, we’ve been puzzling over how the prophecies of the Last Days would be fulfilled. Well, we no longer need to puzzle over it. We now have most of the pieces and a better understanding of the picture.
The only question is whether we can fit those pieces together properly. It’s a big challenge, and I’ve been trying to do this for years. The good thing is that I’m better at this than before.
And, it’s the year of the rooster, and with it come many ominous portents. No, not the mystical shmystical kind. The more mundane, end-of-the-world-as-we-know-it kind. And yes, catastrophe will be the name of the game in this Chinese Year of the Rooster.
What can we expect?
Economic and financial devastation – or, at least more evidence that it is around the corner.
Libya falls farther into Russia’s grasp.
Gog and Magog will look more and more real with each passing week.
India will collapse and fall into the abyss of their own devising.
I always predict that the next year will be interesting, and I’m always right. Well, I’m always right on that word, ‘interesting’. The rest of my predictions tend to be less than accurate.
So, interesting events will abound. The question is whether they will be sufficiently benign for you to survive them. I suspect that the body count won’t escalate until we hit 2018. But, the wreckage of the financial system might leave you with very little to show for all of your hard work.
But, let’s take a few moments to look at what I think about the coming year.
Over the past two weeks the Republicans and Democrats presented their most persuasive arguments for why Americans should choose THEM to lead the United States. I’m not a fan of either party, and the candidates that I supported most did not get nominated.
More important, Turkey made its turn away from the US and NATO, and toward the Middle East. If you are wondering how that will play out, just read Ezekiel 38 and 39. And then, read Isaiah 19, where it talks about Assyria. For Assyria to rise, Turkey must fall.
These are momentous times, and the long, hot summer that I’ve been talking about isn’t over yet.
