Days of Anguish and Obedience

These are the days that will try your soul. We have crested the hill and now stare into the abyss. The question is whether you will surrender your will to the Lord and obey, in the midst of your anguish – or, whether you will choke and fail. Once the pain starts, it will be hard to choose.

So, choose now.

You will not make it through what is coming without the Lord and His Wisdom. The wisdom of man got you into this mess. It will take the Lord to get you out.

But, He will not ‘get you out’ if you do not choose to obey Him.

Days of Anguish and Obedience

When King Saul disobeyed, God took the kingdom away and gave it to another. The prophet Samuel said this about obedience:

And Samuel said, Hath the Lord as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the Lord? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams.

 – 1 Samuel 15:22

I keep talking about the need to serve the Lord, and I want you to do that. But, that service needs to be what GOD wants, not what YOU want.

What YOU want, means NOTHING.

Yes, God loves you, and He wants the best for you. But, God is the one who knows what’s best. We are just sheep, milling about on the battlefield.

I spent a lot of my life arguing with God about what should happen. I wanted this… and that… and the other thing. It would have been better to submit to the will of God, and I eventually did.

The problem is that I see a lot of you engaged in the same struggle, and I want to warn you that there is only one winner in such a struggle. So, you should surrender, now.

Let’s go over some of the struggles that you might be involved in.

Patriotism

I come from a long line of patriots. One John Little died at the Second Battle of Trenton, killed by a Hessian – not long after the crossing of the Delaware.

The question is…

…did that John Little die, doing what Jesus told us to do?

Unfortunately, I think that the answer is no.

I have made the case repeatedly that we are allowed to defend our lives, and the lives of others – which was the point made by Jesus:

Then said he unto them, But now, he that hath a purse, let him take it, and likewise his scrip: and he that hath no sword, let him sell his garment, and buy one.

 – Luke 22:36

People use that verse to say that Jesus was advocating for revolution, and that is just completely ridiculous.

Paul the Apostle was a patriot before he was saved. He was zealous towards the law, and the Mosaic Covenant was all about Israel’s right to the Land of Israel. Yet, after he was saved, he commanded believers to obey the very government that was illegally occupying the Land of Israel.

Jesus Himself KNEW that Rome illegally occupied the Land of Israel – HIS LAND!

But, remember what Jesus said to His disciples:

But I say unto you, That ye resist not evil: but whosoever shall smite thee on thy right cheek, turn to him the other also.

And if any man will sue thee at the law, and take away thy coat, let him have thy cloak also.

And whosoever shall compel thee to go a mile, go with him twain.

Matthew 5:39-41

Jesus did not provide a ‘Caveat’, saying that you should do that, as long as your rights weren’t being infringed. He wasn’t saying that you should do such a thing, as long as the other person was right, and you were wrong.

No, Jesus was telling us to suffer injustice.

And yes, I understand how painful that statement is. This idea of willingly suffering injustice is extremely difficult to swallow.

So, let me put it this way:

We are NOT to engage in revolution, which is the killing of others for political gain.

That’s right. Revolution is about killing others for political gain. If you think that you can have a tidy little revolution without wholesale death and destruction, think again. I have spent a large part of my life studying war, and very little good is gained from most of the wars that I have studied.

Furthermore, some will speak of the great things done because of the American Revolution. As someone who has studied history, I can point to the great evils done by America, that might not have been done – if the Revolution had never happened.

Think of the great evil that is done in our name, across the world. This list is huge and eclipses any good that we have done. And, that evil was made possible by the American Revolution.

Was it wrong to ask for independence?

No.

Was it wrong to kill others for that independence?

Yes.

Jesus said:

Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves.

Matthew 10:16

If we kill for political gain…

…how is that being ‘harmless as doves’?

Again, by nature, I am a fighter. I want to fight. I want to kill those who are evil. I want to destroy those who have corrupted our country, our people and our children. I want to rend, tear and destroy those that threaten the weak and defenseless.

But, I must remind myself:

Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.

Romans 12:19

At the end of that chapter it says:

Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good. (v. 21)

It is difficult to accept such defenselessness. I don’t like it, but I submit myself to the words of our Lord and Savior.

We are to be harmless as doves. We are to be sheep before the wolves. We are to harm no one, except in self-defense or in the personal defense of others.

Very few of us will die of old age. My hope is that we will have died, obeying God to our dying breath. To do anything else is to fail.

The Pretribulation Rapture Lie

I still cannot believe that there are Christians who still believe in this. This willingness to twist the Bible is beyond my comprehension. And, that twisting brings me to a comment that someone named Francis Wade said:

The Bible is like a person, and if you torture it long enough, you can get it to say almost anything you’d like it to say.

Unfortunately, the pretribbers have been torturing the Bible for just about two hundred years. And yes, that’s only as long as the pretrib lie has been around.

Here’s my writeup on the Pretribulation Rapture Lie:

http://www.ezekielsfire.com/chapter-one/the-pre-tribulation-rapture-lie/

It doesn’t give me any pleasure to pound on that lie, but it’s killing you. You MUST prepare for what is coming.

Israel

I see a growing evil among Christians that is truly sickening, and it centers on two verses:

I know thy works, and tribulation, and poverty, (but thou art rich) and I know the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan.

 – Revelation 2:9

And:

Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee.

 – Revelation 3:9

Look carefully at those two verses.

Does it say ANYWHERE that the Jews aren’t Jews?

No, it says that there was a group of people who SAID that they were Jews, but were not Jews. That’s it.

And, please be careful when you argue with me on that.

There is something that some might describe as a ‘curse’ upon those who twist the words of Revelation:

For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:

And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.

 – Revelation 22:18-19

If you add to the words of the prophecy of the Book of Revelation, you will suffer all of the plagues described in the Book of Revelation. But, there’s worse.

If you take AWAY words, you will be taken OUT of the Book of Life.

So, go ahead. Argue with me. Make my day.

…but, do you want to suffer the consequences?

I’m not saying that I’m right on everything. I’m not. But, one thing that I refuse to do, is argue with God. I’ve learned that lesson, the hard way.

Here’s what you NEED to know about Israel, and the Last Days:

Postmillennialism And Amillennialism

This ‘curse’ from God given to us in Revelation 22:18 and 19 reminds me that a lot of antisemite Christians have fought against what God says about Israel, in the Bible, because they believe in Postmillennialism or Amillennialism.

Postmillennialism says that we are IN the Millennium, right now. And THAT is just insane.

Did you actually READ Revelation 20?

Has Satan been bound for a thousand years?

Are we ruling and reigning?

Has the first resurrection happened yet?

Are you insane?

Sorry, I just cannot help myself. Postmillennialism is madness, but at least it’s a madness that TRIES to fit Revelation 20 into that insanity.

Amillennialism just chucks the entire chapter out of the Bible!

Amillennialism believes that there IS NO MILLENNIUM!!

According to Revelation 22:18 and 19, Postmillennialists will be handed over to the plagues of Revelation, but the Amillennialists will be DELETED FROM THE BOOK OF LIFE!!

You MUST Obey God, YOU MUST!

I’m sure that there’s something that I could add to all this, but this has already gotten too long, and the research section is HUGE.

The point is that you MUST obey God. NOTHING ELSE MATTERS!

If you love ANYTHING in this world MORE than obeying God, then you are lost. You will suffer judgment by God in this life, and you might not go to heaven.

Is it possible that I’ve gone a bit overboard here?

I would LOVE to believe that. I certainly WANT to. But, I’m not certain that I have the luxury of ‘pulling my punches’ on this. The stakes are too high.

The stakes are ETERNAL!

READ YOUR BIBLE!!

The problem is that you cannot know how to obey God if you don’t know what He wants you to do. And THAT means reading your Bible.

In fact, let me ask you a question:

Are you saved?

You cannot be saved unless you love God with all your heart, body and soul.

If that’s you, then welcome to the Body of Christ, brother or sister!

But, wait…

…if you love God THAT much…

…why aren’t you reading His love letters to you?

Seriously, don’t tell me that you love God, and then not read His Words for YOU. Actions speak A LOT louder than words. If you truly love God, then you will read your Bible.

All of it.

That’s right. Genesis to Revelation. Again and again. Until you die.

The time is coming – soon – in which you will wish that you had.

Days Of Anguish

I believe that the Days of Anguish are here. We may get a pause for a few days or weeks, but I doubt that there will be too much of that.

All the indicators are screaming economic and financial collapse.

War is coming, and it’s going to be BAD.

And then, there will be Ezekiel’s Fire.

You might have time to prepare. You might not. I don’t know.

You will see a lot of what I know in the research section, below.

Life is short.

Eternity is long.

Choose well.

I truly hope that you’ll be ready for this
